1. Use of website
This website provides a platform to facilitate identity verification services carried out by qualified solicitors in accordance with HM Land Registry Practice Guide 67A. You agree to use this website lawfully and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use of the site. Misuse or fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited.
2. Nature of services
This website connects users with a solicitor regulated in England and Wales who provides identity verification for the purpose of completing HM Land Registry forms ID1, ID2, and ID5.
The solicitor acts independently and is solely responsible for verifying your identity in line with HM Land Registry requirements. This platform itself does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or submit applications to HM Land Registry.
3. User responsibilities
By using this platform, you confirm that:
All information you provide is accurate and complete
You will not knowingly submit false, misleading, or fraudulent documents
You are at least 18 years old or acting under the supervision of a parent or guardian
You are responsible for ensuring that all documents submitted (e.g. passport, proof of address) are valid, current, and meet HM Land Registry standards for remote identity verification
You understand that only passports, biometric residence permits, and biometric national ID cards are accepted for remote ID1 verification (UK driving licences are not permitted)
You acknowledge that the solicitor’s role is limited strictly to identity verification and does not involve giving legal advice or acting for you in any transaction
4. Payment and fees
Fees for the verification service are clearly stated at the time of booking and must be paid in full before the service is provided. Payments are processed securely via the platform. Pricing is subject to change without notice.
If a verification attempt fails due to the submission of incorrect, expired, or unacceptable identity documents (for example, using a UK driving licence for a remote ID1 verification despite prior instructions), and a new Credas link needs to be issued, an additional administrative fee of £10 will be charged for the re-verification process.
5. Cancellations and refunds
The solicitor or this platform reserves the right to cancel or refuse verification services if:
Documents are expired, illegible, or non-compliant
You fail to attend your scheduled video appointment
You breach any of these Terms
Refunds will not be issued for failures caused by expired or unacceptable documents, no-shows, or last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Limitation of legal role
The solicitor’s role is limited solely to verifying identity for the purpose of completing Land Registry Form ID1, ID2, or ID5.

7. Privacy and data protection
Your data will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. By booking a verification service, you consent to the use of secure third-party providers (e.g. Credas) to process ID documents and facilitate identity checks.

8. Intellectual property

9. Third-party tools and links

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
